I’m totally starting this a little late, but better late than never!
Basically the idea of this challenge is to power through as many NetGalley and Edelweiss egalleys as you can!
My list probably looks like child’s play compared to others, but I haven’t gotten that many books from NetGalley in general, and I do try to stay on top of them. But I’m really trying to knock out as many books as I can since I won’t have as much time to read from September 17th – October 17th-ish. So I’m hoping I can get all of my NetGalley books done before then, or even by the end of August!
I give you… THE LIST! (Note: Sorted by publication date, shown in brackets)
- From What I Remember… by Valerie Thomas & Stacy Kramer (15th May 2012)
Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire (14th August 2012)- The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater (18th September 2012)
The Paladin Prophecy by Mark Frost (25th September 2012)Mystic City by Theo Lawrence (9th October 2012)- Katya’s World by Jonathan L Howard (6th November 2012)
So tell me.. what does your NetGalley list look like? 😉 Don’t be shy!
I just finished The Raven Boys. It was amazing. You should definitely read that next. And I’m so far behind on my Netgalley list. I shouldn’t of taken two weeks off to watch the Olympics.
I’m so, so glad you loved The Raven Boys! I might read Beautiful Disaster first, but then The Raven Boys is definitely next after that! I admit I’m a little nervous because I enjoyed the Shiver books by Maggie but I wasn’t a fan of The Scorpio Races. So I could go either way for The Raven Boys! Fingers crossed that I love it. 😉
Good luck with your Netgalley list!
I only have five books.
Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire, I’m over 80 percent done. It’s a good read!! It’s enjoyable.. BUT.. there’s a but for me, I won’t tell you I don’t want to spoil it to you, lol! It’s a great book, very romantic, and INTENSE!
Next, I’m going to read in this order:
-One Breath Away by Heather Gudenkauf – I love her writing, I’ve read only one book of her, The Weight of Silence, and it was amazing, I totally recommend it.
-Ashen Winter by Mike Mullin – This is the second book, I’m not sure if it’s a trilogy or a series, but Ashfall, his first book, was PHENOMENAL!! I loved it.
– Rape Girl by Alina Klein – I really don’t know what to expect of this book, but I hope to have a great message on its pages.
– Lucretia and the Kroons by Victor LaValle.
Sounds like I have a lot to read, but I’m almost done with Beautiful Disaster, so I’m excited to read all of them. 🙂
Ohh I’m so excited about Beautiful Disaster now, thank you!! I’m totally in the mood for some intense romance.
And your list is awesome! I’m jealous of Ashen Winter! I also read Ashfall and totally loved it!! I keep considering requesting Ashen Winter on Netgalley but I feel bad when I already have such a long TBR list! UGH! In any case, I have preordered Ashen Winter so I’ll read it eventually!
Enjoy all your books. 🙂
