The Queen’s Rising is an interesting kingdom/rebellion story, which thankfully reads like a standalone!
15 books that have been in my to-be-read pile for over two years
If you’re a fellow bookworm then odds are you have a huge pile (or several shelves!) of books that you haven’t read yet. Below are 15 books that have been in my TBR pile for at least two years (some far longer!). 1) Bitterblue (Graceling […]
Reign the Earth was everything I hoped it would be!
To be honest, I don’t want to review Reign the Earth. For me it was one of those books that was so perfect that I don’t even want to sit and be objective about it. I don’t want to go over details and pick it apart. I just want to bask in its amazingness and all the beautiful feelings I have about the book.
My last four 4+ star reads: This Mortal Coil, Flame in the Mist, Mistborn: The Final Empire, and Origin

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black — I’m so glad I stuck around for this one!
I was a bit worried when I first started The Cruel Prince. Its depiction of fae being dark and twisted isn’t my favourite. It’s Wonderland-esque. I prefer “light”, principled, honour-bound fae.
Books on my to-buy list to complete my collection and put on my new floor-to-ceiling bookshelves!
Ever since I started university, I almost completely stopped buying physical books. While living in a small dorm room, then small apartments, I simply didn’t have the space to store any more physical books. But in September, my husband and I bought our very first […]
