Related Posts Feature in WordPress
Hi:
I just found your WONDERFUL site via Bloglovin and while reading through your reviews I saw that you have a great tool called “Related Posts” that actually shows the book covers of related books.Would you be willing to tell me the name of this plugin (I assume it’s a plugin)?
You have a fantastic site by the way!
CJ
Hi CJ! Thank you so much! 🙂 The ‘Related Posts’ feature is actually something I coded myself for my blog, so it’s not a plugin that’s ready available to download. However, a very similar feature will be available in version 2.0 of the Ultimate Book Blogger Plugin. The below screenshot is taken from my WIP of version 2:
Changing Fonts in WordPress
How do you change fonts (sidebar, posts, navigation bar..) in WordPress.org? There is no option available for it, so I am guessing it deals with using the theme editor which I know nothing about. Thanks.
Tanya
Hi Tanya!
How to change fonts actually varies from theme to theme, so I can’t give you specific instructions that you can follow exactly. Some themes might have a built-in options panel where you can change the fonts, but others don’t. If yours doesn’t, then you would have to edit the CSS directly.
Memes for Bookish Quotes
Last week I started my own blog and have published a review already. I didn’t added my fav. quotation in the review and i want to share them. so i was wondering if there is any weekly meme where we can post our favourite quotes from a recently reviewed book?
Anubha
Hi Anubha! The closest meme I can think of is Teaser Tuesdays hosted by Should Be Reading. But this is slightly different from what you’re looking for because you’re meant to post a small quote from the book you’re reading now (as opposed to one you already read and reviewed).
But if you want to do it your way, I’m sure Should Be Reading wouldn’t mind! Or you could even start a meme of your own! 🙂
A related posts feature on the UBB Plugin? Cool! 😀 It’s looks so easy to work with. I’m going to stalk your blog even more now that I’m switching to WordPress. Lol
I ran across a book quote meme the other day called Memorable Monday hosted by Escape in a Book. Just thought I’d share!
I really like the plugin AnyFont for themes that don’t have built in font-editing and for those of us that are way too scared to go editing any important theme files directly… cause it never turns out well when I try!
