For Review
I just started reading Waterfell. I really hope it’s good! I have a few worries so far, but I’m hoping it will pull through because I really want a great mermaid book!
My Life Story (Almost)
I thought I’d also use this post to talk a bit about me in response to a question I received through my form:
Hello Ashley,
I am really enjoying your blog and trying to figure out how to do one in the first place. I am really interested in knowing about your life in the UK. What percentage are you in the US vs UK? I live in the US, but I love the UK. And…how do you make money blogging? Thank you! πRebecca Kennedy
Hi Rebecca! π
I’m originally from the US. In my first year of college, I fell in love with a Brit! Halfway through my second year of college, I begged and pleaded my parents to let me transfer to a new school in England so I could be closer to him. Amazingly, they gave in, so I packed up and moved to England. I had to start over at a new university there at year one, but that’s how I ended up going back and forth between the US and the UK. I’m in the US over summer break, month-long Christmas break, and month-long spring break, and I’m in the UK during term time. π
Also, the boyfriend and I have been together almost 4 years now, which is awesome!
I’ll save the making money blogging part of your question for another time!
You little romantic you! hehe. I couldn’t imagine moving to another country for a boy, but if it works out, then I bet it’s so worth it.
Ooh how sweet! π And I do hope you enjoy Waterfell. I couldn’t connect to it, but it was a great book either way. And I really want to read After Eden too!
Aw, romantic π
After Eden looks good, hope you enjoy
Currently reading Waterfell right now too and well it’s not too bad. Hope you like it π
Awww that’s so sweet :3 Love reading about these kind of stories, just makes me feel warm and fuzzy haha
Naw!!! Ash you sound so happy it makes me giddy! Congrats on your 4 years! That must be hard, being so far away from home (I totally understand that!) but you must be having an amazing time – with an amazing person too!
Hope you enjoy Waterfell. I just finished it, and it wasn’t as great as I thought it would be, but I enjoyed it nonetheless!!
Love getting to know you a little better, Ashley! I love that you moved across an ocean for a boy! π So sweet!
Enjoy your books this week!
Bree π
Its nice to hear a little bit more about you. Can’t believe you moved across the ocean to be near someone that you really liked a lot. Very tender. Waterfall sounds good. Come visit me too.
Awww, I always wondered how you ended up in the UK. <3
Waterfell sounds good and I hope it turns out as good as you hope. I’ve added it to my wish list.
Awww. That is a sweet story! I wished I had the courage to move to a different country. π
Oooh UK and US that seems so much fun!! You must be able to attend book events in both places π Anyways waterfell sounds good
