For Review
I just started reading Waterfell. I really hope it’s good! I have a few worries so far, but I’m hoping it will pull through because I really want a great mermaid book!
My Life Story (Almost)
I thought I’d also use this post to talk a bit about me in response to a question I received through my form:
Hello Ashley,
I am really enjoying your blog and trying to figure out how to do one in the first place. I am really interested in knowing about your life in the UK. What percentage are you in the US vs UK? I live in the US, but I love the UK. And…how do you make money blogging? Thank you!Rebecca Kennedy
Hi Rebecca!
I’m originally from the US. In my first year of college, I fell in love with a Brit! Halfway through my second year of college, I begged and pleaded my parents to let me transfer to a new school in England so I could be closer to him. Amazingly, they gave in, so I packed up and moved to England. I had to start over at a new university there at year one, but that’s how I ended up going back and forth between the US and the UK. I’m in the US over summer break, month-long Christmas break, and month-long spring break, and I’m in the UK during term time.
Also, the boyfriend and I have been together almost 4 years now, which is awesome!
I’ll save the making money blogging part of your question for another time!
You little romantic you! hehe. I couldn’t imagine moving to another country for a boy, but if it works out, then I bet it’s so worth it.
Ooh how sweet!
And I do hope you enjoy Waterfell. I couldn’t connect to it, but it was a great book either way. And I really want to read After Eden too!
Aw, romantic
After Eden looks good, hope you enjoy
Currently reading Waterfell right now too and well it’s not too bad. Hope you like it
Awww that’s so sweet :3 Love reading about these kind of stories, just makes me feel warm and fuzzy haha
Naw!!! Ash you sound so happy it makes me giddy! Congrats on your 4 years! That must be hard, being so far away from home (I totally understand that!) but you must be having an amazing time – with an amazing person too!
Hope you enjoy Waterfell. I just finished it, and it wasn’t as great as I thought it would be, but I enjoyed it nonetheless!!
Love getting to know you a little better, Ashley! I love that you moved across an ocean for a boy!
So sweet!
Enjoy your books this week!
Bree
Its nice to hear a little bit more about you. Can’t believe you moved across the ocean to be near someone that you really liked a lot. Very tender. Waterfall sounds good. Come visit me too.
Awww, I always wondered how you ended up in the UK. <3
Waterfell sounds good and I hope it turns out as good as you hope. I’ve added it to my wish list.
Awww. That is a sweet story! I wished I had the courage to move to a different country.
Oooh UK and US that seems so much fun!! You must be able to attend book events in both places
Anyways waterfell sounds good
