My last two reads have been so great that I can’t help but share them with you. Fireborne The author wrote a little note that I feel really sums up the vibe and atmosphere of the book. I’d encourage you to read it! In short: […]

Furyborn: Star Wars but with angels?!
Furyborn is a REALLY cool story with two different timelines that relate and intersect. The prologue shows you the outcome of Queen Rielle’s timeline, then chapter one takes you two years back to explain how events led up to that outcome. Then chapter two gives you Eliana’s point of view, which is a crazy 1,020 years later!

I don’t want to go over details and pick it apart. I just want to bask in its amazingness and all the beautiful feelings I have about the book.
It really sucks when the final book in a series disappoints you
Cat wasn’t the badass I hoped for in Heart on Fire; she was riddled with repetitive insecurities that didn’t feel like they “fit” into the third and final book.
Review: The Sea King (Weathermages of Mystral #2) by C.L. Wilson
I really enjoyed The Sea King, but I’ll confess I’m disappointed I wasn’t able to give it 5 stars. I had to dock a star for two key reasons…
