A music-obsessed, slightly snarky New York City girl, Lexi is on her own. After making a huge mistake—and facing a terrible tragedy—Lexi has no choice but to track down her long-absent mother. Rumor has it that Lexi’s mom is somewhere in Florida with a traveling circus.
When Lexi arrives at her new, three-ring reality, her mom isn’t there…but her destiny might be. Surrounded by tigers, elephants, and trapeze artists, Lexi finds some surprising friends and an even more surprising chance at true love. She even lucks into a spot as the circus’s fortune teller, reading tarot cards and making predictions.
But then Lexi’s ex-best friend from home shows up, and suddenly it’s Lexi’s own future that’s thrown into question…
With humor, wisdom, and a dazzlingly fresh voice, this debut reminds us of the magic of circus tents, city lights, first kisses, last heartaches, and the importance of an excellent playlist.

So I have already established that the cover for this book is amazing. It’s gorgeous and I wish I could dive right into that scene! But guess what? The plot sounds awesome as well!
I think this could be a really fun, different contemporary book! I can’t wait!
I can’t wait for this either! I love the sound of it and it looks different to anything out in the YA market at the moment so yay! Also, I’m SO in agreement with you about the cover. It is A M A Z I N G.
This sounds interesting. I haven’t heard of it before.
I’m really excited for this one, too. In fact, I have it scheduled for a WoW post in the very near future. 🙂 I love that cover, too, but I’m sold on that summary! It’s not like I don’t have enough awesome reads on my pile already, but I still can’t wait for April! Here’s my WoW post! Happy Wednesday! 😀
The story sounds really sweet!! Thanks for sharing 🙂
I’ve always wanted to run away and join the circus (who hasn’t?). I love that she picks up fortune-telling! So cool. And the cover is gorgeous, I agree.
I can’t wait to read this either! It just sounds so fun, especially as it’s set in a circus. Plus I don’t think I could love that cover any more if I tried… Great pick this week! 🙂
This was my pick a few weeks ago. I’m anxious to read it. Great choice!
If you get a chance, visit my WoW.
Oooo, interesting choice! I love the cover of this one! And I’ve never heard of it – but now I have! Besides THE NIGHT CIRCUS, I haven’t really read anything that had to do with circuses. And a traveling circus? WEIRD! Great choice!

This one sounds really unique which is hard to find nowadays. It’s sad that I haven’t seen this one around much. I hope it’s as good as it looks. And that cover is so eye catching and beautiful!
