Seventeen-year-old Caymen Meyers studies the rich like her own personal science experiment, and after years of observation she’s pretty sure they’re only good for one thing—spending money on useless stuff, like the porcelain dolls in her mother’s shop.
So when Xander Spence walks into the store to pick up a doll for his grandmother, it only takes one glance for Caymen to figure out he’s oozing rich. Despite his charming ways and that he’s one of the first people who actually gets her, she’s smart enough to know his interest won’t last. Because if there’s one thing she’s learned from her mother’s warnings, it’s that the rich have a short attention span. But Xander keeps coming around, despite her best efforts to scare him off. And much to her dismay, she’s beginning to enjoy his company.
She knows her mom can’t find out—she wouldn’t approve. She’d much rather Caymen hang out with the local rocker who hasn’t been raised by money. But just when Xander’s attention and loyalty are about to convince Caymen that being rich isn’t a character flaw, she finds out that money is a much bigger part of their relationship than she’d ever realized. And that Xander’s not the only one she should’ve been worried about.

A rich, sexy guy named Xander? I am all over this! Plus I adored Pivot Point by Kasie West and I can’t wait to see what she has for us next!
Yeah, this one looks good! And I really do enjoy the lettering on the cover. 🙂
I want to read this one too! I also loved Pivot Point. 🙂
Oh, this sounds good! I’ve had some bad luck with contemporaries lately but this one looks like it could have more depth 🙂 Also, I heard nothing but great things about Pivot Point!
My WoW
Pivot Point is amazing! I’m sorry that you’ve had some bad lucky with contemporaries lately! 🙁 That’s a bummer.
YEAH !!! Cannot wait for this either. Just like you I absolutely loved Pivot Point so this one will be a must read
and… CONGRATS on the name change :))) Such a cool name!
Thanks Danny! 😀
I like the new name. I actually just saw someone change their blog name. They just left the facebook page alone but put the correct pictures with the new name on it. It seems to work. Here it is: https://www.facebook.com/MTGReviews
That’s true.. ugh. I just really wouldn’t like having the page say “BookNook” when that now has nothing to do with my name! 🙁
An awesome pick Ashley! I loved Pivot Point as well so this is pretty high on my wish list.
Loving the new name!
WOAH, your blog name is different! Interesting! Bye-bye, BookNook! And the URL! Well, of course 😀
I can’t wait for this book either! I love Kasie West, and I think it’s fabulous that she has a contemporary novel coming out in the summer. Great WoW choice!
Check out my WoW post!
I actually tweaked by blog name too. I have been reading a lot of contemporary romance lately so I changed it to Reading and Writing Urban Fantasy, Paranormal, and Romance. This way it’s close to what it was and I didn’t have to change my domain name, just my header and blog button.
I haven’t read Pivot Point yet but I hear it’s really good and I’m such a sucker for contemporaries.
I feel like I have been waiting forever for this one! I can’t wait for it either!

AAHH!! Your new blog name is super cute! I got an email from one of your replies and I was like, who is this? Haha, this is great! How did you change your url when you’re self-hosted?
Thank you Janita!! 😀
Basically I bought a new domain name, created a new website folder, copied all my WordPress files into the new folder, and pointed the new website at the same database. So basically at that point I had two separate WordPress installations that both used the same database, but they were two separate URLs.
Then I set up a 301 redirect on the old site, which basically means whenever you visit a booknook.me URL you get redirected to the same page but on nosegraze.com .
If you’re not that familiar with web hosts and setting up new sites, I guess it is a bit techy! But otherwise it’s not too difficult. 🙂 It only takes a few minutes.
HEEEEECK YEAH! I have been in an insane WANT coma for this book since I saw the cover. [I blame her GORGEOUS shoes!!!] Ack. And the premise sounds like it’s got a very original twist to this contemporary. Plus, Kasie is just awesome!!!
Bottom line: All things point to a LEGIT book. *grabby hands*

I can’t wait for this. It looks great. I loved Pivot-Point.
I enjoyed Pivot Point so much that I cannot wait to read this one. The synopsis didn’t catch me at first but when I seen it was by Kasie West I added it to my TBR. Pivot Point was such a fresh drink of water compared to some of the other debuts I had read(at that point) that I NEED to see what else this lady can do!!! Great pick for a WoW!!!
